PDI Inspection Supervisor
Location: Long Bennington, Lincolnshire
Pay Rate: £30,000-£32,000 per annum
Shift: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00
Contract: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)
We are seeking a PDI Inspection Supervisor to oversee the pre-delivery inspection (PDI) team at a busy automotive site in Long Bennington. This role involves leading a team of inspectors, ensuring all vehicle checks meet manufacturer standards, and maintaining efficiency in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the PDI team, ensuring inspections are completed accurately and on time.
- Oversee pre-delivery inspections to confirm vehicles meet manufacturer specifications before handover.
- Train and mentor new inspectors, ensuring adherence to inspection processes and safety protocols.
- Conduct quality control checks, addressing any issues or inconsistencies.
- Ensure the correct use of handheld devices and inspection tools.
- Monitor workflow and coordinate daily inspection schedules.
- Liaise with management to provide updates on team performance and inspection quality.
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a vehicle inspection or PDI role.
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to uphold high-quality standards.
- Confident using basic tools (airlines, drills, torque wrench) and handheld inspection devices.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage a team effectively.
