VW Vehicle Technician
Location: Long Bennington, Lincolnshire
Shift: Monday-Friday, day shift
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Contract: Long-term, Ongoing work
We are looking to recruit an experienced VW Vehicle Technician to join a busy technical centre in Long Bennington. This role involves carrying out repairs, warranty work, servicing, and maintenance of fleet vehicles while also supporting other technicians who may not have VW experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics and fault-finding on a range of VW fleet vehicles.
- Conduct MOT preparation, servicing, and routine maintenance.
- Identify and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Carry out inspections and fit replacement parts as needed.
- Assist and mentor colleagues without VW experience.
- Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and fleet standards.
Requirements:
- Hold a recognised Level 2 or 3 Vehicle Technician qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ).
- VW Vehicle Technician qualification and experience (essential).
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues.
