Electrical Technician

Ford & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Experts are seeking Electrical Technicians to support our clients Rail project in Long Marston. 

The Opportunity

You will be working on behalf of CAF Rail Services to provide essential modifications to the underframe of the trains, completing electrical modifications, installations to the underframes and HVAC systems on the trains. 

Contract Length: 4 Months, inside IR35

Location (s): Long Marston

Key Role and Responsibilities

• Electrical repairs
• Exterior repairs
• Modifications and repairs electrical component 
• Completing electrical faults and testing if required

Essentials

• NVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
• Strong electrical understanding
• Flexible to work weekends, as may be required with project demands
• Enjoy working as part of a team

Desirables

• Commutable to Long Marston
• Rolling stock or light rail experience is highly desirable
• Experience within a HGV, Military or aviation background
