Plant Equipment Paint Sprayer

This is a vital role within our production process, and we are seeking a dedicated individual to thrive within a fast paced manufacturing environment. You will be paint spraying various parts and pieces of equipment both fresh from the manufacturing line, and also from returning equipment hires that need repair, so a keen eye for detail is a must for this position. 

 

Main Purpose of the Role

Paint Conquip stock equipment and also conduct repair work to the specific job requirements.

Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 5pm

 

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Selecting paint from stock and preparing the spray booth for each new job.

2. Performing frequent change overs of colour, spraying items of various sizes and ensuring paint thickness

and gloss levels are correct on finished product.

3. General housekeeping duties (Cleaning the workspace)

 

Requirements

1. Regular replenishment of stock levels.

2. Carry out regular quality checking of own work and ensure the finish is completed to customer and business expectations

3. Ability to work unsupervised is required as although in a small team of people the individual will be required to work through various jobs without assistance.

4. Use of fork truck and overhead crane

5. Taking ownership of housekeeping within the immediate working area
