Location: Longfield (SEN/SEMH School)

Position: Long-term Temporary (Immediate Start)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA)/Learning Support Assistant (LSA)/Behaviour Mentor to join our team, working within SEN/SEMH schools. This is an exciting opportunity to support students either in class or on a 1:1 basis, ensuring they receive the tailored support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized support to students with specific SEN or SEMH needs in a classroom or 1:1 setting.Work within small, heavily supported classes with a student-to-TA ratio of 3:1.Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing learning environment.Implement strategies to manage and improve student behaviour and engagement.Assist in developing personalized learning plans and interventions.

Requirements:

Experience working in an educational setting is essential.SEN and/or SEMH experience is highly desirable.A valid DBS on the Update Service, or the willingness to obtain a new one.A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
