We are looking for a highly motivated and inspirational SEN Science Teacher to join our special school, dedicated to pupils with behaviour and learning difficulties (SEMH). As an SEN Science Teacher, you will be instrumental in enhancing numeracy across the curriculum and contributing to our mission of developing lifelong independent learners.

Day to day of the role:
  • Deliver outstanding Science lessons that inspire and excite students about their learning.
  • Utilise data effectively to track student progress and tailor teaching methods to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s ethos of care, respect, and success.
  • Contribute to the development of a broad, balanced, inclusive, and relevant curriculum.
  • Engage with pupils to understand their educational and emotional needs, fostering a positive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong subject knowledge of Science.
  • Proven experience as an outstanding classroom teacher.
  • Experience working with pupils with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties is desirable.
  • Confidence in using data to inform teaching and track student progress.
