Location: New Ash Green
Pay:
£160 to £260 per day (via PAYE)

Vision for Education is working in partnership with a large special school in New Ash Green for pupils with Profound, Severe and Complex needs. We are seeking a dedicated, caring and compassionate Teacher who is keen to nurture SEN children.

The Role

  • Establish a safe and stimulating environment for pupils where children feel confident and comfortable to work to the best of their ability
  • Plan and deliver engaging learning daily, developing exciting and innovative methods that stimulate interest and excitement in the classroom
  • Recognise that each child is unique and adapt teaching styles appropriately to facilitate effective learning experiences
  • Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and comfortable learning environment
  • Highlight and celebrate each individual pupil’s achievements and inform pupils how they can improve further
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-agency approach

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience working with children with SEN, ideally in an educational setting
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
