Customer Service Assistant

Location: Wimborne 

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Hours:  Full-time, 9am-5pm, 5 days per week Includes 2 Saturdays each month, with a weekday off on those weeks.  40 hours a week

Our client is looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join their team in their busy retail store. Responsibility as a Customer Service Assistant:

  • Assist customers in selecting suitable mobility equipment.
  • Handle phone inquiries promptly and proactively.
  • Demonstrate equipment, including lifting items into car boots.
  • Deliver friendly, welcoming customer service.
  • Showing patience and understanding when dealing with customers, many of whom are elderly or disabled.

What we are looking for from the Customer Service Assistant:

  • A friendly and approachable personality with excellent communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for customers.
  • Patience and empathy, especially when assisting elderly or disabled individuals.
  • Physical ability to handle and demonstrate mobility equipment.
  • A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service.
  • Maintaining a positive and professional demeanour, even when managing multiple tasks or challenging situations.
  • Preferred experience in customer service, shopkeeping, or care work, but not necessary.
