As an Experienced School IT Technician, you will provide top-tier IT support to schools and businesses in the Staffordshire area. From day-to-day troubleshooting to managing full-scale IT projects, this role offers a chance to showcase your skills and grow your expertise.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • At least 3 years of professional IT support experience, ideally in a UK school setting
  • Proficiency in IT systems, with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows (10/11), Windows Server, Active Directory, networking (LAN/WAN), and virtualisation platforms (VMware & Hyper-V)
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet service level agreements
  • Flexible, enthusiastic, and proactive
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Committed to personal and professional development

What will your role look like?

  • Maintain and repair computer systems and IT equipment, including hardware, software, and peripheral devices (e.g., printers, interactive whiteboards)
  • Create, maintain, and troubleshoot computer networks (server & client)
  • Identify and resolve issues affecting operating systems and other devices
  • Contribute to IT development projects, ensuring smooth delivery and implementation
