Sonic Summary

A prestigious client in the Longton area is seeking experienced MIG Welders due to continued growth.
Candidates should have experience in MIG welding steels up to 12mm thick, with knowledge of other materials being advantageous.
The role requires competency in using hand and air tools, as well as the ability to read detailed fabrication drawings.
Working hours are from 7.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday, with a half-day on Friday, and there are also night shifts available.
Unlimited overtime is offered, and candidates will need to complete a weld test to qualify for the position.

Due to continued growth anopportunity has arisen to work for our prestigious client based in the Longton area.

They are looking for experienced MIG Welders to help with the manufacture and repair of articulated trailers within a busy industrial environment.

Skills and Experience

Suitable candidates should demonstrate the following:

Fully experienced in MIG welding steels up to 12mm thickness
The ability to weld other materials such as stainless steels, alloys etc. advantageous
Fully competent in the use of hand and air tools
Ability to read and work from detailed fabrication drawings
Capable of working to demanding deadlines

Hours of work are:

Days - 7.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday finishing at 12.30pm on Friday.

Nights - 6.00pm to 6.00am Monday to Thursday.

Unlimited overtime available.

Suitable candidates will be required to carry out a weld test.
