Macildowie Finance are working with a manufacturing business based in North Leicestershire who are recruiting for a Company Accountant to join their finance team. This is a newly created role, with exciting opportunities for the successful candidate.

This business is an international group who are a leading player in their industry, and have achieved significant growth over the last 15 years. Turnover for the UK division is most recently £39million, and 403 million euros on a group basis.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support senior management decision-making.
  • Prepare and publish monthly consolidated financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Track inventory by project, customer, and business, and monitor gross margin at BU/site/customer levels.
  • Manage inter-entity transfer prices with central controllers and conduct margin analysis.

Ideal Skills & Experience:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent.
  • Advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Significant experience in the financial sector, preferably within manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication skills, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in an international business environment.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
