Corporate Tax Director Loughborough£85,000 to £100,000 Butler Rose Public Practice are pleased to be partnered with this high growth and ambitious Top 40 firm that are now able to recruit a highly experienced and qualified Tax compliance Director to take up a pivotal role within the firm's corporate tax department. This position will be instrumental in leading the delivery of UK corporate tax compliance work for clients in a range of industries including high street retailers. In addition, the role will take responsibility for client relationships, delivering client assignments to ensure the expedient delivery of tax services required. Role Requirements -

  • Oversee a portfolio of high-value corporate clients, providing expert tax compliance and advisory services. Build strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor and ensuring a seamless client experience.
  • Provide comprehensive tax advice on a range of complex issues and liaise with our technical teams in areas including transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, group reorganisations, patent box.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, building relationships with potential clients and collaborating with directors to expand our corporate tax offering.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Work closely with colleagues in other departments to identify tax-related opportunities and risks for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to service delivery.

Person Requirements -

  • CTA and/or ATT, ACA or ACCA qualified with considerable experience gained in corporate tax at a Manager/Director level working for a prominent UK based practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax law and regulations
  • Experience in corporate tax compliance as well as exposure to advisory service offerings
  • Excellent client relationship management skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach
  • Ability to work on multiple complex assignments
  • Business development skills
