Anderselite are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK construction company specialising in industrial and commercial projects. The business provides expertise in design and build, refurbishments, extensions, and fit-outs, working across sectors such as industrial warehouses, office spaces, and retail facilities. As an estimator, you will play a key role in supporting the pre-construction team, ensuring project tenders are cost-effective, accurate, and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities:
- Preparing and managing cost estimates for a variety of projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and fit-outs
- Conducting detailed take-offs from drawings and specifications to produce accurate costings
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and project information
- Analysing tender documentation and identifying key requirements and risks
- Working closely with the design and project delivery teams to ensure budgets and cost controls are aligned
- Supporting value engineering processes to optimise project costs without compromising quality or objectives
- Maintaining an up-to-date database of rates, suppliers, and subcontractor contacts
- Providing regular updates to senior management and contributing to bid presentations as required

About you:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as an estimator in construction, ideally within industrial and commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of design and build processes and tendering
- Proficiency in using estimating software and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple tenders simultaneously
