The role is based at the firm's head office which is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, South Nottingham, Rugby, Corby and Coventry / Warwickshire.
Reporting to a part time Finance Director and the Managing Director, The Financial Controller will have the responsibilityof the day to day running of the finance team and supporting the leadership team in the day to day running of the business.
Responsibilitieswill include the production of monthly and annual accounting, vat returns, leading the budget / forecastingprocess, cashflow forecasting, leading and coaching a team of 5, supporting the business with any analysis requeststhat they may have to improve decisionmaking.
The business is keen to hire a candidate who is likelyto be in a Finance Manager or Financial Controller type role and who aspires to be a Finance Director in the future. You will be looking for a role that includes managing a team, supporting an MD, being seen in the business and has the opportunity to add value to the business.
The business has zero debt and is cash positive. They have a structuredgrowth plan in place to increase turn over by 20% over the next few years.
To be consideredfor this role you will need to be qualified in either the ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification.
The role offers a salary of between £55,000 and £65,000 plus benefits
