- Lead the finance team, overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions (2 FTEs).
- Prepare monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and business partnering reports.
- Oversee cash flow management, including daily monitoring and weekly forecasts.
- Manage year-end processes, external audits, and ensure accurate tax returns (VAT, PAYE, NI, Corporation Tax).
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and improve financial processes.
- Monitor stock levels and support raw material planning.
- Authorise vendor payments and customer credit limits.
- Prepare and review payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- A professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment and a proven track record of leading a small finance team would be an advantage.Â
- Strong understanding of management accounts and year-end statutory processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (preferably with Power BI) and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills, particularly when liaising with directors.
