Job title: Design Engineer
Location: Leicestershire (1 day in office per week)
Salary: Up to 40,000 DOE
As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing fire and security systems for a diverse range of projects. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and installation teams to ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of safety and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed design plans for fire alarm, intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV systems.
- Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements and constraints.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and schematics using CAD software.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure design specifications align with project goals and regulatory standards.
- Review and approve system designs and engineering documentation.
- Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
- Experienced fire design engineer (FIA design qualification or similar).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
- Technical knowledge of Hochiki, Gent, Advanced, Ziton.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, UL standards, and other relevant regulations.
- Full, UK Drivers Licence
