Finance Administrator

Loughborough

£13.00ph - £13.50ph

We are seeking a Temporary Finance Administrator to join our client's finance team for a 4-week assignment, starting immediately. This short-term opportunity has arisen due to the integration of a new system within the business, and additional support is needed to ensure smooth operations during this transition.

Description of the role:

  • Process invoices for the vendor ledger from email, post, or hand delivery, primarily using Continia software or manual entry.
  • Record receipts and payments to the relevant ledgers from bank statements, Wise accounts, credit card statements, and petty cash spreadsheets.
  • Periodically reconcile all bank accounts to statements.
  • Reconcile balances to statements, cash books, and spreadsheets to ensure closing balances are accurate.

About you:

  • Experience in finance administration or a related role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (knowledge of Continia and Business Central is a plus!).
  • Proficiency in handling bank reconciliations and ledger entries.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
