Building Maintenance Operative

Think Property & Surveying are delighted to be working with a leading university in the East Midlands to recruit a Building Maintenance Operativeto join their Estates team.

The campus is one of the largest in the UK, with state of the art facilities and world leading infrastructure.

The role will include performing inspections, delivering planned maintenance, reactive maintenance and minor works, carryingout trades work related to your area of expertise, overseeing the general maintenance of machinery and equipment , assembling and dismantling scaffolding, and undertakingspecialist training on an ongoing basis.

You will have solid experience of working in building maintenance in a multi-disciplinary team, experience working successfully in a customer facing role and have previousexperiencein a trade i.e. brick laying, plastering, roofing, carpentry etc.

You will be offered a salary of 26-31K and other benefits include 40 days of holiday and an incredible public sector pension.
