This role will be responsible for capturing and documenting business processes, functional and non-functional requirements across software development projects within the Access HSC Local Government team, covering Children & Young People, Social Care and Finance. These will be recorded via process maps, supporting documents, and resulting user stories in the development management system.Day-to-day, you will:? • Research, determine and document user stories and requirements of initiatives/projects in a timely manner for release planning• Act as liaison between Development team and users, interpreting requirements and relaying clear use cases and customer requirements to development teams.• Contribute to the management of the product backlog, ensuring visibility and prioritising work according to agreed business goals• Collaborate closely with the Development/UI team in scrum meetings, providing feedback, setting sprint goals, and addressing questions/queries promptly.Your skills and experiences might also include:?? • Demonstrate strong experience across all aspects of Local Authority Education services.• Possess a good understanding of Business Analysis and documentation techniques• Have excellent organizational skills, structured and evidence-based decision making, attention to detail, and the ability to break down complex subjects into simple, understandable use cases.• Exhibit excellent communication skills, the ability to engage with all key stakeholders, focus on problem-solvingWhat does Access offer you??We offer a flexible, hybrid working environment where you can balance work and life while maintaining a strong office team-based culture.
