People Solutions is recruiting for a Class 2 Driver in Leicester, East Midlands, with a pay rate of £14.81 per hour and a Monday to Friday schedule.
The position requires a minimum of six months of experience driving Category C vehicles and a valid UK Category C Licence.
Benefits include excellent hourly rates, ongoing work, weekly pay, training provided, and immediate starts.
Daily duties involve operating Class 2 vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, and effective communication with dispatch and customers.
Candidates must have a valid UK CPC Card, UK Digi Card, and no more than six penalty points on their driving record.

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
No heavy lifting
Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:

Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
Have a minimum of six months experience driving Category C vehicles
No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
