Shuttering Joiner - Groundworks Project (Loughborough) - Immediate Start
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Shuttering Joiner to join a groundworks project in Loughborough, starting immediately. The role will involve constructing and assembling formwork for concrete structures, ensuring precision and quality in line with engineering drawings and site specifications.
Job Details:
- Location: Loughborough
- Pay Rate: 25-26 per hour (CIS/Umbrella available)
- Duration: Approximately 4 weeks, with potential for further work
- Start Date: Immediate
- Hours: Standard site hours with potential overtime opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
- Constructing formwork for foundations, walls, columns, and other concrete structures
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and site plans
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber or metal formwork to required specifications
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with site health and safety regulations
- Working closely with other trades and site management to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card (Skilled Worker or above preferred)
- Full PPE (hard hat, high-vis vest, safety boots, gloves, and eye protection)
- Proven experience in shuttering joinery, particularly within groundwork and civil engineering projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
