Think Recruitment have a unique and exciting opportunity for a Civil Design Engineer to join a residential developer in their internal civil design team.
Our client have a fantastic reputations for delivering high quality homes across the Midlands and further afield, with exciting growth plans for the business moving forwards. Part of these plans are to grow their internal design function servicing various projects across the Midlands, so if you're currently working in a consultancy environment but would like the rewards and benefits that comes with working for a developer then this may be the role for you.
On a day to day basis our client are looking for someone to be responsible for the production and review of civil engineering designs (Viability, Planning, S38/S104/S278, Earthworks, Private Drainage & External Levels) to achieve technical approvals and enable efficient and cost-effective construction of new housing schemes.
Reporting to the Head of Technical, you will also be working alongside Land, Architecture, Commercial and Construction departments to provide engineering input into all stages of sites from acquisition to final handovers.
With a grounding in civil engineering design the ideal candidate will have good command of industry standard software such as Site3D, Civil3D, AutoCAD, Microdrainage etc as well as experience of working on residential schemes.
