We are seeking a Cook for a bustling cafe in LE7, Leicester for this Friday, and weekend. This is an urgent temporary position ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has experience preparing a variety of dishes including breakfasts, paninis, sandwiches, and salads.
Day-to-day of the role:- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes including breakfast items, paninis, sandwiches, and salads.
- Ensure that food preparation and servings are done according to health and safety standards.
- Manage time effectively to meet the demands of meal rushes.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen at all times.
- Work efficiently to handle a high volume of orders while maintaining quality.
- Right to work in the UK (mandatory for immediate start).
- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.
- Good understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
