Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant - SEN TA role - Loughborough
Have you recently Graduated from University, who is keen for a career in education? Do you have an interest in supporting children with Autism and other SEN needs?
Tradewind Recruitment currently work closely with a range of Schools in Loughborough who are looking for their next Graduate. These are full-time, term-time only roles and for the strongest candidates, will often lead to full-time employment with the school. Our schools are particularly interested in hearing from graduates with degrees in Maths, English, Psychology or a creative subject. Other disciplines will also be considered as schools love working with graduates from university.
You will have the full support of the classroom teachers, Senior Leadership Team and the SENCO to ensure you are successful in your role. A large part of your role will be supporting children with Autism or other learning needs both within and outside the classroom. We are looking for people with a genuine passion for childcare and education.
Daily Rate: £89-£100 per day (PAYE)
Location: Loughborough
Type of role: Longer time, Monday to Friday
About you
- Passionate about working with children with SEN
- Natural relationship builder
- Able to commute to or local to Harlow
- Passionate about improving outcomes for children with additional needs
- Reliable and flexible
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with children with SEN needs
- Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour using a range of techniques
- Build strong relationships with parents
- Find creative ways to ensure learners are engaged
