Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the design and documentation of electrical wiring harnesses and other electrical work packages
- Utilising Solidworks Electrical to create electrical schematics, 3D models, and manufacturing documents for wiring harnesses and cable assemblies
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet project deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Producing designs suitable for development through to production level manufacture, adhering to relevant standards
Job Requirements:
- BEng, BSc (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, or a relevant non-degree level qualification with suitable industrial experience
- Experience in electrical wiring harness design and schematic capture
- Proficiency in using Solidworks Electrical
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI control and application-specific standards
- Creative approach to cable routing and management
- Effective communicator with excellent attention to detail
- Highly motivated with the ability to contribute to work packages to achieve on-time delivery
