Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Assembly Operative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assembling high-quality products using various materials such as aluminium, glass, and composite decking. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and physical stamina.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to produce finished products.
  • Safely operate forklifts to move heavy parts and materials within the workshop.
  • Handle and assemble materials including aluminium, glass, and composite decking.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure production deadlines are met.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in assembly or fabrication, ideally within a manufacturing or metalworking environment.
  • Tools Proficiency: Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches) and power tools (e.g., drills, grinders).
  • Forklift Driving: Valid forklift license or willingness to undergo training.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy parts and materials safely.
