Role: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Leicester (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £80,000 DoE

In this role, you will work at the forefront of DevOps, using AWS, Terraform, and IAM to develop, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure applications. The Role:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for building out a secure infrastructure and working alongside developers to architect the company's estate. Your focus will be on creating deployment pipelines, ensuring smooth software delivery, and maintaining cloud environments. You'll also develop monitoring and alerting systems to track and manage performance. This is a key position within a rapidly growing company, offering the opportunity to shape its future and grow alongside a passionate team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and deploying scalable infrastructure in AWS using Terraform.
- Creating and maintaining EKS and RDS clusters and network infrastructures.
- Developing monitoring and alerting systems for cloud applications using Laravel and Vue stack.
- Ensuring security by implementing and managing IAM for user, service, and data segregation policies.
- Collaborating with other engineers and developers to architect the company's cloud estate.
- Proactively identifying and addressing potential security threats.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience using Terraform for infrastructure management.
- Solid understanding of AWS or GCP environments.
- Strong experience with IAM and managing security policies in cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with EKS, RDS, and building secure cloud architectures.
- Ability to create and manage automated deployment pipelines.
- Proactive, with a passion for building reliable and stable systems.
- Strong beliefs in the importance of logging, alerting, and monitoring strategies.
