You are a dedicated and detail-oriented security professional with a passion for enhancing cybersecurity operations through automation. You have experience working with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms and understand the importance of streamlining incident response processes. Your technical skills are complemented by strong problem-solving abilities, and you are always eager to learn and adopt new technologies. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our security operations are robust and efficient. You are proactive, always looking for ways to improve existing systems, and you bring a hands-on approach to every task. Your communication skills enable you to articulate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.You have a background in cybersecurity, with a solid understanding of various security technologies, including SIEM, XDR, Next-Gen firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection. Experience with scripting and automation tools is a must, as you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation scripts to enhance our security operations.Day-to-day, you will:? • Develop, implement, and maintain automation workflows using SOAR platforms to streamline incident response and security operations• Work within our security operations team to identify opportunities for automation and enhance existing processes• Investigate and respond to security incidents, leveraging automated tools and workflows to ensure swift resolution• Monitor and fine-tune SOAR integrations with various security tools and systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliabilityYour skills and experiences might also include:?? • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and PowerShell• Experience with cloud security tools and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365)• Experience working in Security Operation Centres, incident response and associated technologies• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or SANS GIACWhat are we all about??
