Paul Mitchell Associates has been engaged on an Exclusive basis by a returning client to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to join its team on a full-time permanent basis, our client a successful SME have created this new position due to a recent promotion.
Based in Loughborough the company has a good history of staff development and retention, and takes pride in looking after their staff wellbeing. When you visit you'll definitely see plenty of smiles, hear lots of laughter and meet lots of happy staff.
We are looking for a “hands on experienced” candidate who is happy to get stuck in, someone who is able to "work under their own initiative" but also able to work in tandem with the Financial Controller ensures the ship is sailed smoothly.
The Role
- Maintaining financial records and general ledger
- Account reconcilations
- Managing bank payments
- VAT returns
- Payroll
- Assisting with monthly financial statement prep, reports, budgeting and forecasting
- Overseeing the Ledgers and assisting to manage the team
- Audit supports
- Provide cover for the Financial Controller

The Right Person
- Experienced in an SME environment in a similar role
- Experienced in Payroll
- Qualified or Part Qualified ACCA / CIMA or QBE
- Proficient in Excel
- Effective communication skills
- A can do / team player attitude
The Package
- Appointment Type: Permanent
- Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (subject to experience)
- Hours: Full-Time 40 hours week
