About the Role:We are currently supporting a well-established business that is committed to providing exceptional experiences through innovative designs and technology. They are looking for a talented Finance Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to the MD & Head of Finance, with a dotted line to the Group CFO, you will play a key role in managing financial operations and driving improvements across the company. You will work closely with various departments to provide financial insight and ensure the financial health of the business.Roles and Responsibilities:Management Accounts: Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts to the required standard and within deadlines.Balance Reconciliations: Review and ensure the accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations, focusing on stock, royalty provisions, and accruals.Cash Flow Forecasting: Complete a weekly 13-week cash flow forecast.Financial Controls: Ensure financial controls are implemented and followed across the department and business.Inventory Management System: Lead projects to improve data integrity in the Inventory Management System, collaborating with cross-functional teams.Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve operational issues, performing root-cause analysis as needed.Statutory Accounts: Oversee the timely completion of year-end statutory accounts, with necessary analysis and reporting.Financial Insight: Provide analysis and insights to support business decisions, particularly in areas such as product and customer profitability, sales/margin, and inventory.Team Management: Lead and manage a small finance team of 2 members, ensuring their ongoing development and success.Qualifications & Skills Required:Essential:Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical skills.Experience in a Manufacturing, FMCG, or Retail background.Proven experience in financial reporting for small to medium-sized businesses.Strong leadership and people management skills.Analytical with excellent attention to detail.Hands-on approach and ability to manage competing deadlines.Advanced/Intermediate Excel skills.
