Are you a detail-oriented professional with a background in insurance and procurement? We are looking for an Insurance and Contracts Manager to oversee our insurance portfolio and provide expert advice on various insurance matters.
This is a key role where you will manage relationships with insurers and brokers, ensuring we proactively manage insurable risks while achieving value for money in line with public procurement laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Insurance Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of a diverse portfolio of insurance policies (worth over £1 million annually), including travel, motor, and property.
- Insurance Renewals: Manage the renewals process for 20+ insurance policies, ensuring compliance with current policy and legislation.
- First Point of Contact: Serve as the primary contact for insurance-related queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Claims Management: Ensure all claims are handled efficiently, investigating and resolving them in a timely manner.
- Contract Management: Provide contract management support to the procurement team, ensuring alignment with public procurement laws.
About You:
- Experience: Previous experience in an insurance, and procurement or purchasing role is essential. Contract management experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong ability to challenge, influence, and build relationships at all levels.
- Detail-Oriented: Comfortable managing multiple complex insurance policies and ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
