My client is looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join a growing property business in Leicester. As a leader in their sector, they have a strong portfolio of high-quality properties across the Midlands.

Job Description:

As the Head of Finance, you will have full authority over the finance function, managing the day-to-day finance needs of the business and overseeing a small team of three. The role will involve working hands-on with the team to encourage maximum efficiency within the team.

Financial Expertise:

  • Preparation of Management Accounts
  • VAT Returns
  • Review of financial policy and procedures
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Payroll
  • Month end responsibilities
  • Management reports
  • Financial planning

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • To lead and manage a finance team of three.
  • Develop strategic plans to foster growth within the wider business.

About you:

  • Previous experience within the property sector is beneficial but not essential.
  • Full ACCA/CIMA qualification is required.
  • Experience managing a team of individuals towards a common goal.
  • Experience with Sage is beneficial.
