Attega Group are looking for a Build Engineer on a permanent basis.


This role will involve Electrical & Mechanical diagnostics.

In return, we are offering a basic salary of up to £35,000 P/A and various company benefits including pension contribution and 20 days holidays + bank holidays, free parking and more.


Duties for this role will include:

Assemble, test and troubleshoot prototype recirculating chillers and related.

Collaborate closely with R&D / Design Engineers to refine designs and implement improvements.

Perform Mechanical and Electrical diagnostics to identify and resolve issues in prototypes.

Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades to test equipment.


The ideal candidate must be experienced within Electrical Engineering from an Engineering, Manufacturing, or similar background.

3-5 years of hands-on experience working with mechanical and electrical systems, ideally within the refrigeration or HVAC sector.

Familiarity with workshop tools and equipment used in assembly and testing.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.

It is also a requirement for this candidate to have a full UK driving license.
