Location: Based out of Loughborough (Nationwide Travel Required)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and flexible Electrical Biased Field Service Engineer to provide nationwide support across multiple depots. This role involves a mix of hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting electrical systems, and offering technical support via a help desk when required. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on electrical systems in rolling stock and associated equipment.
* Provide technical support remotely via a help desk, assisting with fault finding and troubleshooting.
* Travel to various depots nationwide to support maintenance teams and resolve technical issues.
* Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical and electronic systems.
* Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and depot teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with industry regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and report on technical issues.

Requirements:
* Electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND, or equivalent).
* Experience working on rolling stock, heavy plant, or industrial electrical systems.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills in electrical and electronic systems.
* Ability to travel nationwide as required.
* Full UK driving licence (Company van provided).
* Comfortable working 4 on / 4 off shifts, including nights and weekends.
* Strong communication and customer service skills, both in-person and via help desk support.
