We are looking for an Estimator to join our well established and respected client based in Loughborough, Leicestershire on a full time, permanent basis.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience).

Hours: 07:45 - 16:45 Monday - Thursday and 07:45 - 14:15 on Friday.

The Role:

We require an experienced, forward thinking driven individual to be part of a growing team to assist in expanding our clients market share in the supply and installation of structural steelwork and architectural metalwork. Reporting the General Manager, you will work closely with team members, customers, suppliers and internal Departments to compile and submit compliant tender submission.

Key Responsibilities:

You will have a solid understanding of structural, secondary and architectural steelwork

Costing materials, labour, site operations including plant to complete comprehensive take-off and written Tender submission

Have a good understanding of architect and engineers drawing including structural calculations and CAD

Identify and secure business opportunities from both existing and new clients.

Proactively interact with other members of the team to produce competitive Bids

Contribute and support the continual development of the Department suggesting and advising of internal and external improvements/innovations.

Key Skills & Competencies

Technical steel knowledge

Familiar with CRM (not essential)

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role

Attention to Detail

Excellent financial and numerical skills and sound commercial awareness

Excellent IT skills

Good communication and negotiating skills

Good time management and organisational skills

Understanding of building law and regulations, contract law and health and safety law

Full UK driving licence
