We are looking for an experienced Hygiene Area Manager to join the hygiene department. This role involves leading a large nightshift team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained across the site. You will be responsible for managing up to 60 hygiene staff, organizing shift patterns, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

The role includes key tasks such as managing pest control, waste disposal, and ensuring hygiene procedures are followed according to COSHH, BRC, HACCP, and GMP guidelines. You will monitor cleaning performance, handle staff absence and discipline, and drive continuous improvement in hygiene standards. Collaborating with other departments, you will address any hygiene-related issues and ensure smooth shift changeovers.

To succeed in this role, you should have proven experience in hygiene management within food manufacturing. Strong leadership skills, team management experience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and hold a full driving license, with flexibility to travel between sites as required.
