SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Media Relations Executive based in Loughborough. This is a crucial role within the business and will allow you to be involved in all aspects of the media strategy.

Overview on the Media Relations Executive -
- Design a programme of media and PR activity in support of the business objectives and priorities, as part of the business overall Marketing and Communications (MarComms) plan.
- Plan and execute PR and media moments and key messages to raise brand awareness, support the advocacy and influencing work of the business, and deliver on commitments.
- Seek out and cultivate relationships with relevant and appropriate media outlets and journalists.
- Manage and deploy a clear engagement plan.
- Manage the press office, dealing with media enquiries, including the development of reputation and crisis communications planning.

Building Relationships
- Support the Campaign Manager to liaise with external agencies to deliver communications campaigns, corporate sponsors and other partners.
- Manage engagement with national and regional media stakeholders Including building relationships directly with journalists.
- Ensure PR projects and campaigns are understood and supported by relevant colleagues and teams where necessary.
- Facilitate editorial decisions working with other communications colleagues to ensure our social media channels and platforms support and highlight news and current affairs activity.

In return you will be offered a salary of up to £32,500 and work office hours Monday-Friday. 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
