Role:Research Scientist

Location:Loughborough, Leicestershire

Salary:£28k-£32k

What Were Looking For:

  • Skilled in in vivo techniques and comfortable mentoring junior team members.
  • Familiar with legislative requirements (ASPA), aseptic surgical techniques, and advanced tissue collection procedures.
  • Detail-oriented with experience maintaining accurate records for scientific and regulatory purposes.
  • A personal licensee holder (Modules A-C) with a passion for oncology research.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience in oncology models or related in vivo studies.
  • A-Levels, BTEC National Diploma in Animal Care (or equivalent), or relevant IAT qualifications preferred.
  • Organised, proactive, and skilled at working independently or collaboratively.
