The Recruitment Group is looking for an HSE Coordinator based in Shepshed. Our client is a fast-growing company and looking for a dedicated person to fill the HSE Coordinator role. Pay for the HSE Coordinator Role - temp to perm
- £15.00 per hour
Hours:
- Monday – Friday – 7am to 5pm (1 hour unpaid break)
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate the Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements of the Remet company by supporting the Operations Manager in providing a safe and environmentally friendly workplace.
To assist the Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of the office:
- Assist in the development and implementation of the HSE Management System to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and continuous improvement
- Assist in conducting HSE risk assessments and developing control measures to minimise risks.
- Assist in conducting internal audits and inspections to evaluate the effectiveness of the HSQE Management System and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in investigating incidents, accidents, and non-conformance and develop corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct induction training for employees and contractors.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies, customers, and suppliers on HSE matters where required.
- Assist the Operations Manager in day-to-day administration activities.
- Liaise with the Group HSQE Advisor regarding implementation.
- Where required, assist in related cover for holidays, sickness, and training.
- Assist with process, production, and energy efficiency-related projects.
- Adhering to the company’s Health and Safety Policy
- Adhering to the company’s Environmental requirements.
- To follow instructions given by the management and any other tasks reasonably required by the company.

- IOSH Managing Safety is desirable
- NEBOSH General Certificate is desirable
