Teaching Assistant

Flourish Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ Primary School near Moreton-In-Marsh to join their staff on a long-term basis. You will be mostly based in a mixed Year 2/3 class, but could be asked to help across the school.

Our client is a rural village school that offer  vibrant and positive place that provides a safe and welcoming environment. The school wants to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant to work that will be part of the staff team.

This Teaching Assistant role is to start ASAP and is ongoing on a long term basis. The position is currently 5 mornings (8:30-13:00) with lunch time duty to also be completed. This role is until the end of the school year in July and the successful candidate has the opportunity to be offered the role on a permanent basis.

The Teaching Assistant role (TA):

• Building trusting relationships with the pupils
• Ensure the safety of the children in the class
• Contribute to a safe, engaging and positive learning environment
• Work closely with the class teacher
• Potentially conduct small group work when needed

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant (TA) role:

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Good curriculum knowledge of either Early years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools
• A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
• A minimum of 2 excellent references
