Sideloader FLT

Teamwork Partnership is seeking a dedicated and skilled Side Loader- FLT to join one of our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse and yard, ensuring that materials are handled safely and effectively. This position involves heavy lifting and requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems, as well as mechanical knowledge to assist in loading and unloading goods.

Duties

• Load and unload materials from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling at all times.
• Build and organise pallets for efficient storage and shipping.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments received and dispatched using the warehouse management system.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of loading and unloading tasks.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines within the warehouse environment.

Experience

• Proven experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting is preferred.
• Side Loader License with I-beam
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift is required.
• A proactive approach to teamwork and communication in a fast-paced environment is essential for success in this role.
