Job Role: Mobile Plant Fitter
Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire
Salary: £40,000-£44,000 (OTE - £48,000)
Hours: Monday-Friday 06.00-17.00 + Company Vehicle/Fuel Card + Overtime @ 1.25x
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
The Client:
Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established plant hire firm to support the growth of their team. Our client, who are currently undergoing exponential are looking to onboard & train engineers from either a plant, HGV, Automotive or Agricultural background to the team with experience working on Telehandlers being a bonus.
The package:
- 25 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays (33 overall)
- All overtime is paid at 1.25x
- Additional day’s annual leave for birthday (closest working day)

The Responsibilities:
- Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment -Predominantly Telehandlers.
- Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting
The Requirements:
- Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV or Agricultural industry (essential)
- Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
- Experience working on engines would be advantageous
- Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience
- A desire to lead, manage and grow a team of your own
- Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
- Full UK Drivers License
