I am looking for someone to underwrite and process mortgage applications and Provide guidance as appropriate to internal and external customers in a manner to achieve the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction, whilst contributing to continuous improvement within the mortgage function.
Skills and Experience
- Ideally, hold a mortgage mandate for various secured lending types, including residential, but to let, self-employed, and self-build.
- Experience in underwriting both intermediary originated and direct business.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent telephone skills and manner.
- Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong decision-making skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Diligent with an analytical mindset.
