Warehouse Operative - Forklift Loughborough 拢24,000 - 拢26,000 Monday - Friday - DaysSF Recruitment are recruiting for a warehouse operative to work for our client based in Loughborough, this is a permanent role on days where the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the success of the day to day business requirements of the warehouse. The candidate needs to have a forklift license; preferably a VNA flexi but this is just beneficial.
Key Duties/ Responsibilities:
路 To represent the company in a professional, enthusiastic and positive manner 路 Ensure an efficient warehouse operation which is able to fulfil operational and customer demand 路 Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures at all times 路 Receive goods and put away in required location 路 Complete assembly of materials/goods as required by the schedule and/or warehouse manager 路 Ensure all required items are moved to the correct area before the close of business (i.e. all materials needed for next days operations are available for the fitters to collect). 路 Decant all approved deliveries, transfer to correct holding areas and re-palletise if requires 路 Operate any machinery for which sufficient competency is possessed (i.e. forklifts, drills, saws etc). 路 Participate in daily warehouse programming meeting 路 Check out goods and alert any shortages, lapses in QA to warehouse manager 路 Report anything broken, damaged or unusable to warehouse manager 路 Always leave their working area in a neat and clear condition before leaving 路 Sweep the warehouse daily 路 Return any tools used to their original location 路 Assist in the periodic stock takes as required my Warehouse manager 路 Assist and support management in achieving the required results within the time frame allowed. 路 Inspect all goods before they are received and alert Warehouse Manager to any potential discrepancy Subsidiary Duties路 Deputise for Warehouse Manager when on annual leave 路 Answer calls to the warehouse 路 Work with the team to support each other 路 Inspect all goods before they are received and alert Warehouse Manager to any potential discrepancy Essential:Forklift License
