Laser Setter Operator

The Recruitment Group is looking for a Laser Setter Operator based in Loughborough.  Our client is a fast-growing company with big ambitions dedicated to serving their customers at the highest level.  We are looking for a Laser Setter Operator who is an experienced and passionate individual with a can-do attitude to join the team.  If you are interested in the Laser Setter Operator role, please read below.  Please note that this is a temp to perm role.

Pay for the Laser Setter Operator – temp to perm

• £14-£15 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours

• Monday – Thursday – 7.30am to 4.30pm
• Friday – 730am to 12.30pm

Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laser cutting machines efficiently, ensuring accuracy and high-quality output
• Load and unload materials and cut parts, ensuring proper handling and storage
• Quality check finished products and report any issues
• Follow health and safety protocols
• Keep the working area clean, tidy and hazard free
• Any other duties requested

The Candidate

• Experience with setting and operating Trumpf Laser cutting machines, or similar – for example, AMADA, Bystronic
• Must be hands-on
• Worked in engineering and wants to learn
• From a manufacturing/production background
• Physically able and ok with heavy lifting
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
• Be a naturally forward planner.
