Project Site Manager – Leicestershire
£450- £480 Per day (Outside IR35)
Monday to Friday 0700 – 1700
Initial 6 Months contract with possible extension

Our client are a leading provider of innovative automated supply chain solutions, software, and services, specialising in designing, building, and supporting cutting-edge systems for warehouses, distribution centres, and manufacturing facilities. These advanced solutions streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and improve productivity across various industries and now require a Project Site Manager

The Project Site Manager will oversee site management, ensuring the efficient coordination and performance of subcontractors. The role involves both site management and some project management responsibilities. You will be managing and leading an installation team while actively coordinating with all subcontractors and vendors, ensuring smooth operations throughout the project.

You will be responsible for the following:
• Full-time site-based role overseeing the installation team.
• Report directly to the lead electrical team.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery.
• Manage the performance of subcontractors, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
• Organize and facilitate back-to-back vendor meetings, ensuring effective communication and project progress.
• Steer subcontractor meetings and manage their cadence to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Ensure all necessary supplier documentation is organized and up to date.
• Bring all vendors together to streamline project efforts and resolve any issues.
• Act as the liaison between the on-site team and the wider project management team.
• Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring clear communication between all parties involved.


The candidate MUST have the following:
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or SSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certifications are required.
• CSCS Card (Manager level – anything above standard construction worker will suffice) Or CSCS Black Card
• NVQ Level 7 – Masters or senior Management Qualification
• Strong background in site management, preferably with a focus on mechanical and electrical installations.
• Project Management experience is advantageous.
• Proven experience in managing and coordinating subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to steer meetings and facilitate smooth operations.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain organisation under pressure.

Desirable Qualifications:
• Experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
• Previous work in mechanical, electrical, and structural construction is advantageous
