Summary:
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Leicester-based client on a permanent basis. Offering a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus company benefits, this role provides an excellent opportunity to work on exciting building services design projects within the commercial, industrial and local authority sectors.
You will be involved in creating detailed mechanical systems designs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. A key aspect of this position is proficiency in Hevacomp, which is essential for the successful candidate. You will play a crucial role in delivering innovative solutions for complex projects, from concept through to installation support, working with various stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
Skills:
1. Proficiency in Hevacomp
2. Strong mechanical design skills
3. Experience in building services design
4. Ability to produce detailed design calculations and documentation

Certifications & Standards:
- Relevant degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering

This permanent role will commence from March - April 2025 although it is also open to candidates who may need to give notice to their current employer and start a little later.
Remuneration:
This position offers a competitive salary largely dependent on experience, however it is expected that basic salary range would be between £50,000 - £55,000 per year with additional company benefits including car or car allowance.
