Mechanical Assembly Engineer

Permanent £35,000 to £45,000 per annum basic salary, plus excellent benefits

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembly Engineer to join a high-precision engineering and instrumentation design company that develops tools for geological analysis and monitoring. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble precision components according to engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide input on prototype designs and suggest improvements for assembly and contribute to continuous improvements in manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with inspection, wiring, and testing teams to maintain high standards.
  • Ensure projects meet production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Accurately log assembly, production and testing data in internal systems.
  • Adhere to strict Health, Safety, and Quality standards.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in engineering testing or mechanical engineering.
  • Mechanical assembly experience, ideally within high-precision engineering.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong communication and teamworking skills
