We are seeking aMechanical Assembly Engineerto join a high-precision engineering and instrumentation design company that develops tools for geological analysis and monitoring. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble precision components according to engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide input on prototype designs and suggest improvements for assembly and contribute to continuous improvements in manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with inspection, wiring, and testing teams to maintain high standards.
  • Ensure projects meet production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Accurately log assembly, production and testing data in internal systems.
  • Adhere to strict Health, Safety, and Quality standards.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly / fitting, ideally within high-precision engineering
  • Ability to read complex engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong hand-on skills and the ability to learn and use specialist mechanical assembly tools and equipment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication and teamworking skills
