SRG is working with a pharmaceutical company in Loughborough. We are looking for a LIMS Technician to join the team on a 12 month rolling contract. A fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door within a pharmaceutical company.

Job Title: QC LIMS Technician

Vacancy type: Temporary Contract (12 months with potential to extend)

Area: Loughborough

Salary: £12-50 - £14/hour (37.5 hours a week)

This role should be treated as an office-based role. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, managing, and inputting data into the company LIMS system in order to comply with site and regulation requirements. This role is critical to support the smooth upgrade of the current system.

To be successful in this role, you would need a degree or apprenticeship qualification in science, great attention to detail, a strong background in GMP, and experience working with LIMS

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • To set up and maintain the LIMS, complying with site and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed and effective change control documentation.
  • Work to appropriate laboratory systems, standards and procedures, e.g., data recording, labelling, investigation and calibration procedures. Complete analytical documentation including the input of results onto the LIMS system.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree within science or an apprenticeship qualification within science, production or quality.
  • Experience with GMP
  • Experience working with LIMS
  • Great attention to detail is essential!
  • Great organisation skills.
